Equipment that is not out of use can have a second life with a new owner, so think about re-use (donation, sale)! Equipment that is no longer in use should be taken to a collection point or waste collection centre.

WEEE is collected and grouped together by eco-organisations (non-profit-making companies of general interest), which coordinate the recycling channels and finance them through eco-taxes on new products.

WEEE is taken by the eco-organisations to approved centres where it is sorted, dismantled and depolluted (lithium-ion batteries, cathode ray tubes, etc.). The residues are crushed and then sieved. Large fractions are sorted mechanically or magnetically.

The finest shreds are difficult and costly to sort. They contain both environmentally hazardous substances and strategic materials. Fines&Co is equipped with an innovative process for sorting these mixes.

The end products manufactured by Fines&Co (fine metals, plastic flakes, minerals) are reused as raw materials in industrial equipment manufacturing processes. The final fractions are used to generate energy.
